Batik Cake

first of all, if you don't live in Malaysia u might not know what Batik cake is.. i guess when u cut the cake the texture looks like batik painting.. that's why the name is like that..

it is a non-bake cake.. so you don't have to worry if u don't have any oven..

i've written the recipe before on snazzynsuch.com.. here's english translation for the recipe..

Ingredients
1 packet marie biscuits
1 1/2 – 2 cups water
3/4 cups cocoa powder
2 cups milo
1 cup sugar
125grams butter
1 1/2 cup chopped groudnuts
2 eggs

Steps
1. Put water into big pot and put it on your stove.
2. Once it's warm enough (u don't have to wait till it really hot) put in cocoa, milo, dan sugar – stir until it dissolve.
3. Add groundnuts – stir.
4. Lower your heat, add in eggs. Stir quickly till thick and turn of your stove.
5. (I use 10" baking tin.) Put the clean wrap plastic on your bakin tin. Make sure the plastic is big and some allowance on sides.
6. Put the first layer of marie biscuits on your baking tin.
7. Slowly, put your chocolate mix on the biscuits.
8. Repeat the process 3 or 4 times.
9. Cover your cake with the plastic allowance. Then put your cake in the fridge for 2 - 3 hours.

then it's ready to be served.
